As Cathouse expanded its network of manufacturers and its skill of reconditioning parts it out-grew the store. The move to a new premise near Rydalmere, NSW gave Cathouse Spares the opportunity to up-scale its inventory and ability to recondition genuine parts, The move greatly assisted the expansion of the family business, helping jaguar owners throughout Australia. In 2018 the business was under new ownership by David who is a jaguar specialist, the XJ6 series 3 was built by David completely by hand. With the previous owner Bob still working with David to continue to expand the business. Cathouse spares then moved once again to Mortdale NSW, continuing with David and his family. The move allowed Cathouse to continue to grow inventory, increase machinery for reconditioning and assist in modernising the business.
